Early 1940's Vintage "New York Creation", Maroon VELVET Almost CLOCHE Style Hat with Feather

Made in the beginning of the 1940's, this almost cloche style hat is made of pleated maroon velvet with a large burst of feathers. The crown is folded and pleated in design and the condition is excellent.
The label says "New York Creation" and there is a consumer protection label INDICATING IT IS FROM NY in the early 40's and it says adjustable size.
I measured 22" circumference. Could be used for a retro 1920's Great Gatsby look.
